Butter

Buttercups

I remember the Buttercups that grew all over my Grandmothers property. As children we would hold them under our uplifted chins.
"Do you like butter?"
If the sun was bright that day the petals would reflect the yellow glow unto our throats and prove we did indeed love butter...
Have a wonderful Wednesday...

What a sweet memory. I've never heard of doing that, but I don't think we have those flowers here in Texas. We have a pink flower with a yellow center full of a yellow powder. We would stick our noses in the center to get the yellow dust on the tip.

I love buttercups and there are quite a few around here. Fond memories for me, too.

Happy Wednesday...or soon to be Thursday!

We always did that, too. And, yup. I always liked butter.
