I didn't meet any of the business goals I set for July*. What's more, I'm not really concerned about it.
I have had a really good July.
I feel more me than ever before.
I am in a good space right now and I know the rest is coming.
I have been actively creating a world I want to be a part of...
Filled to the brim with inspiration, gratitude, creativity, love and life.
I am photographing everyday because I want to capture the moment and because I want to be proud of the shots I am getting.I blog most days because I feel a connection to others through it and I see my writing getting clearer.
I have been ignoring Etsy (a little) and looking all around me at other venues. I will open my Etsy shop this month, the photos are being taken, but I will also open shops on other sites. I want to get some local shops carrying my wares too.
I have one goal for the rest of the summer and it's this...
- "To grin so wide I can eat a banana sideways"
I wish you all the same, as well as accomplishing those goals you set!

That's a great summer goal indeed! Keep grinning and good luck on those other alluded to goals above (like opening up an etsy shop, getting your work into local shops, etc :)

I love it. Thank you so much. Sometimes, goals don't really matter... at least, not goals of the numbered, tangible kind. Sometimes, they can even get in the way of the stuff that's actually important.. and I think you've found that. I'd say that's quite a productive month.
I think meeting up each month is good for just assessing where you are and if it's where you want to be. Sounds like you've got that covered, Andrea!
That's a wonderful goal! Looking beyond Etsy...I can say that the majority of my sales are local, and although I want to reach further, I'm pretty sure Etsy is not the ultimate way to go for me, although I do have one for now...it's quite the double edged sword!
Good luck on your goal - I'm SURE you'll accomplish it!

Andrea, July sounded just fine! I haven't been to Newfoundland yet, I've lived in Nova Scotia though and will soon have a patch of land in Cape Breton. My husband talks about the beauty of Newfoundland (he's from CB) and I am very sure I will get to see your beautiful province soon. Enjoy your August!

OK, I am totally re-writing my goals, because you sound like you are having way too much fun, and I want to do that too! My favourite thing that you wrote about was that you were actively creating a world that you want to be a part of, now that is completely inspiring and beautiful! I hope you thoroughly and completely succeed at your August goals!
