Tonight on the path from the computer to the kitchen, to check on the quiche I am baking, I tripped and fell over something.
When I turned my head, from where I lay crumpled on the floor, I gasped.
*GASP*
I'm not sure why it bothered me as it did...
I tripped over the World.
The vintage globe was off it's axis and spinning, careening, out of control.
A feeling of dread came over me...I reached out tenderly and stopped it's frantic spinning.
A metaphor indeed...A warning?
What do you think?

Perhaps...don't let the world and its trappings trip you...look into your heart! : )
...on the path to...QUICHE...watch closely...your footsteps...
Hmmmm. Don't let the "world" trip you up! Follow your dreams :)
I hope you didn't hurt yourself. Now I wish I was there to taste that quiche! Pic please :)
And who made those beautiful socks?
I think you tripped and fell over a globe that shouldn't have been on the floor. Lift up your world where it belongs. :)
Hmmm, tripping over the world....! What on earth???
Maybe, it is merely a literal thing, you are "tripping" on the world! Meaning, you LOVE it!!! :)
hmm...perhaps a vacation is in your future you little day tripper :) Either that or don't leave your toys on the floor where they may be stepped on :)
Or - maybe just the fact that your blog i reaching world wide .. :o)
I think I'll choose the interpretation of....
Mrs Little Jeans and Tena, because they are of the same bent.
The World shall trip me no longer ladies! (I put it on a desk) I am following my heart with an eye on my dreams from now onward!
This was fun I should ask "your" feelings and interpretations more often!
