An amazing day at Middle Cove Beach...
There was little wind but the waves were huge and beautiful...
The air was so full of misty salty air I could taste it.
I kept wiping my lens because I thought it was fogged but it was the air around me.
The bright clothing in the first photo really appealed to me...
Such a contrast to the colours of the day.
The woman with the dog was interesting to me too.
It made me feel comforted. I love animals.
The company of animals...

Beuatiful!
I love the color of the beach and the gradation with the sea and the sky.

Oh these photos make me REALLY
miss the beach! I long to be
near water. The cleansing of
mind and soul when the body
is able to breathe the salt
sea air, and listen to it's
rhythmic tunes. Thank you!

hi Andrea, i'm loving your coastal photos! i had to do a double take on the one of the wave crashing up against the rocks from the other day because it was so familiar! Chad... erm, The Boy took me sightseeing on Christmas day and i have a very similar photo.

i'm so loving the one of the 3 wavewatchers - the contrast of their jackets against the beach is divine!

man, it seems like there are so many places i'm homesick for, and i'm so completely uninspired with where i live right now, although the warmer weather is helping somewhat.

anyway... long story short... NICE!

Oh, to be living right next to the ocean...nothing greater!

I love how small the figures look against the endless sea. I feel like I don't get this sense most of the time when looking at portraits near the ocean. But it adds a lot of depth to my thoughts when I look at these.

Just lovely!! There's nothing quite as refreshing as a windy day at the beach!

I love the contrast of the people against the sea and beach. Wow. They are lovely. Photographing strangers is such an interesting idea. I imagine it's very different from trying to capture people you know.
