Protestation, Integrity, Beauty

I shall be absent...Perhaps only a day. Perhaps more...I have a wee muscle in my back that is having a fit...Perhaps he hates the others he has to live with and is protesting? Two things are certain. It's a "he" and he's causing a big problem for the rest of me! Picture me hunched over the keyboard, standing because I can't sit and typing with only my right hand because the left is refusing to move from it's defensive position at my ribs...I don't think I hurt myself.
On another note a bunch of my photos were stolen and offered for free download at some "free" wallpaper website. :( I just had to change my Flickr settings to protect them so now they aren't as accessible to people with an honest interest (integrity). How sad. I am thinking of a watermark...That really upsets me. Watermarks take so much away.
I had a great weekend of beautiful photos...Hopefully to share soon...
How was your weekend? What did you do?

Andrea: Hope your muscle stops causing you trouble. My weekend was not much better, stuck in the house trying to feel better. Thanks for the mention, I will respond in a while. Everything is still in slow motion here.

eek! i'm sorry to hear about your photos getting swiped. and i totally know what you mean about having a personified demon muscle in your back... mine's in my neck actually, and his name is Darth Vader because he has gone to the dark side. my boyfriend is a chiropractor... and we CANNOT seem to coax Darth back into the light, it is an ongoing saga.
i hope nice things come your way very soon!

Ouch ouch..I hope this protesting muscle loosens up fast...and how sad for the photo incident, bad for you but really sad for the person who did this. We should hope that it was done out of ignorance!

My weekend was spent studying espanol, I had a final that I think I did not do very well in, I can now say que lastima! what a pity! : ) and I had to comfort Ollie who spent a good bit of time trapped in the redwood!

XOXO

Andrea, I do hope that muscle decides to get along soon!

That's so horrible about your photos - I hate watermarks but I think I'd have to do that too, if I were you.

Hope you'll get better soon. I feel sorry about the stolen photos... what a shame. I'm always shocked when I see photos re-used without link or author name reference... Really upsetting indeed.

This weekend, we were finaly having "un avant-gout" of spring over here! Went to the beach, then to a museum in Bath...

PS: Great bokeh tutorial in your previous post!

Bad, bad, muscle! I hope he loosens his grip soon! How awful about your photos getting stolen. That's a lowdown thing to do. In a way, it's flattering, but they are rude to just take from others.

Get some rest, Andrea. Feel better soon!

The back AND the photos - that's too much for one weekend! Sorry. I would like to know if I can use your photo of a coffee cup (gosh - I think it was you that took it) and link back to your blog. It had a quote on it in English and French about success. My weekend was spent inside working on reports. The upcoming weekend will be much more fun ;-)

Thanks for the well wishes everyone. He's still causing problems but I have drugs now so I can do a little more! Perhaps a massage tomorrow...
