These are vintage Globes that have been multiplying without consciously "collecting" them...
I have about a dozen so far.
And will continue to get them, because I love the colour combinations.
They inspire me in so many ways...

"When we focus our energy towards constructing a passionate, meaningful life, we are tossing a pebble into the world, creating a beautiful ripple effect of inspiration. When one person follows a dream, tries something new or takes a daring leap, everyone nearby feels that energy, and before too long they are making their own daring leaps and inspiring yet another circle."

I adore these. I'm tempted to ask my niece and nephew for the two my mom sent them. I don't think they appreciate them at all. I'd love to give them a home. They were the size and very similar to the one on the bottom in the middle with the red base.
When I was a boy I used to close my eyes, twirl the globe and then put my forefinger on it to see where I would go, but if I didn't like the place, I used to twirl it again.
oh yes, globes have something i can't quite put my finger on.
p.s.: thanks for stopping by at mine and your kind comments!
it is a great idea to collect globes - i love them! your pic is just beautiful!
My hubby has been wanting a vintage globe for quite some time... I can't wait to show him this picture! :)
lovely collection!
A great way to dream
+ nice shot!!!
I love accidental collections! I just realized this week that I have a collection inside a collection. A bird obsession has helped me acquire 4 sets of bird S&P shakers! I didn't even realize that's what they were until someone else pointed it out :)
I love this so much. I adore vintage anything, and this photo is just perfect.
Love, love, love this. Sometimes more just is better, right!?
