oh...
I have over 500 photos to process and edit and share from these last couple of Mac free months...I have been brutally assessing shots as I take them because I don't want to be overwhelmed when the day comes to transfer them to the Mac...I still have over 500...Not to mention the rolls of film.rust
I've decided to compromise on the desk top because I can not find what I'm looking for. So I'm making a patchwork of reclaimed wood into a solid top. Something like the FABULOUS pieces from Nightwood...Which really isn't a compromise at all, is it?

All things considered the renovations are going okay. I've been procrastinating a little lately but not stopping. I was hoping for a wee Halloween gathering {and a costume as the Johnny Depp Mad Hatter~ as I have the hair and teeth for it...} but I fear it is too bold an ambition...Plumbing, finding the right bits to make old faucets adapt to new spaces, has also been a bit of a annoyance. Tradespeople can be infuriatingly uncreative sometimes...I should start printing out some the wonderfully creative things I see in various Sneak Peeks to show "Just look...an outdoor fixture inside...Switches on sideways..."

Oh, the light today was so soothing...Thank you World...

What's happening with you? Anticipating {like me} or dreading the cool days ahead? Or perhaps you are heading into the balmy days of Summer? I hope it's good wherever you are...

This is a hopeful post. I hope you are feeling more whole, if only a little.

Andrea, I love the flower...so plush, and I love the desk, I love your creativity and tenacity as well.

I am still in need of a desk and three years later after moving into our condo we are deskless...we use the dining table as we did when we lived in a one-bedroom, for 7 years! oh well...

We had a plumbing incident that was sort of funny, the ceiling caved in in our bathroom...the scene with my husband soaking was hilarious...we both got the giggles...anyhow, now our newly done bathroom has to be redone, and for now there is a gaping hole in the ceiling/wall that is appropriate for Halloween.

It is nice out...I am in the lab slaving away with an engineer...dying to have a cup of coffee, wish I had you here with me! So good to see you.

xoxo

I am in the bloom of spring! Cannot wait for the warmth of the Australian summer. Your photos are beautiful, cannot wait to see the other 500! And may I say, as a fellow Mac user - how tasteful, you therefore are!

Your spirits seem to be up...so glad to see it.

I know the ache must still remain, but the seasons do change the heart a bit don't they?
I think they make us stronger...where the chill still surfaces, there is no denying the warmth of the sun.

peace.

I dread the winter, too. If it didn't last six months, it wouldn't be so bad, but by about March I am ready to pull my hair out.

Speaking of hair, I would LOVE to see you as the Mad Hatter!!! Quite a costume to put together, I know, but boy would if be perfect for you!

Glad to hear the renovation is going pretty well. It sounds like you are really doing it right and being careful with the details...it sounds like it is going to be so wonderful. Love the table ideas.

Hi there!
Great to hear about you.
I´ve just signed up for a clown workshop in Stockholm. I´ve wanted to do this for ages but lacked courage (silly really!) and decided now was the time to do it. My inner clown has been letting me know of her existance for ages...I better give her life!
Warm regards and thoughts.
Nina

I think I am embracing the cooler weather though it will be a few more weeks before it settles unto our area. Happy Fall!
