Seeing: Stars...My vision is sparkly due to lack of sleep...When I close my eyes my head is filled with a constellation strewn sky...The prettiest bokeh.
Hearing: A deep, dull hum. A noise that makes me physically ill. Makes me clench my teeth. Nothing blocks it and it keeps me awake. I have no idea what it is...
Tasting: Vitamin C drops...Echinacea Tea {a new addiction}
Touching: The softest jersey night gown against my prickly legs {time to pull a blade across my knees}
Smelling: Strawberry Body Shop lotion, tea, orange...
6th Sense...
Intuition: I need to jump.
What is happening in your sensory world today?

needing to keep going, just for today, because in a few hours the weekend starts and suddenly I won't have to keep going, but will want to anyway. for now it is a chore.
Well, before I started reading I was going to say that mine does not amount to a whole lot and mentally trying to tell myself that I am grateful, I am grateful. Reading yours I feel I can share...
vision- tired eyes, Augustus did not come in last night, meows at 5 a.m. I got up twice in the middle of the night calling for him...so naughty, this is the second time, so I am tired
smell- the pollen situation is bad here and I cycle between not being able to breathe and cough to coming indoor in the artificial environment where I can breathe...
taste- coffee and donuts (so naughty, stress made me do it)
touch- keyboard and I love it
intuition-I need to jump too...a lot to cram into my short day
xoxoxo
Go shave those legs and do a little dance...did you go to the salon, blow dryer heat can really help with head colds
Ah Lizzie...I feel the poetry even in your simplest words...I hope the weekend brings you inspiration and rest. xo
MLJ...Bad Cat! Out partying all night! Teenagers! ;) Hope you sleep really well over the weekend! xo
i LOVE the way you wrote about your starry eyed visions, beautiful words!!!! 5 senses friday = so clever! also the 6th one is great, just jump and the net will appear lades. ♥
Thank you Lynn...Five Senses Friday was, alas, invented by someone else...I first saw it on the blog "Abby try Again", she accredits Shari Altman with it's inception...
I've added the 6th myself...Where would women be without intuition?
Have a wonderful weekend!
