"When we focus our energy towards constructing a passionate, meaningful life, we are tossing a pebble into the world, creating a beautiful ripple effect of inspiration. When one person follows a dream, tries something new or takes a daring leap, everyone nearby feels that energy, and before too long they are making their own daring leaps and inspiring yet another circle."

Andrea I finally had a chance to get caught up on some of my fave blogs, and read your last few posts. I don't know what kind of energy is in the world right now, but some of us are affected by it...while others go about their day, oblivious to history playing itself out right in front of us.
We may not recognize our world next year, there is so much going on right now, and it's easy to feel powerless.
Maybe this is why you can't find your inspiration? You do know it will come back, this is what I like to call the incubation period, when ideas are percolating in your mind, even though it doesn't feel like it. There is a reason each of us is here on this earth, in this particular time. Maybe it is simply to bear witness?
don't feel guilty for having your health, while others are struggling with cancer, or other problems. That is their path in life, not yours, and feeling guilty won't help them, or you.
Every breath is a gift, the best we can do is be grateful for every day on this precious earth.
xoxo

Thank you so much Betty...It feels like you were right here, holding my hand. I really appreciate your thoughtful and kind words...xo
Pinkglitter what a lovely comment.
I've had a very rough last few weeks myself just feeling terribly sad too much of the time. Your photos are so beautiful I refuse to believe that you have photographer's block. I think it's just the time of the year. We're all so tired of all the neutrals, all the beiges, the dirty whites and greys. We're waitin' on all that new life.
I'm looking so forward to my photo assistant Miss D and I getting back onto the beach when the ice is gone and when blooms and buds begin again.
Hope you too have a lovely weekend. xo S & Dee
If it means anything, and I hope it does, I feel peaceful/happy/INSPIRED when I see each and every one of your beautiful images :)
Thank you Susan & Dee and Megan...A word or two of kindness means so much sometimes! XO
{Susan, my whole family plus a few close others call me Dee...Always have :) }
Andrea,
It happens. Your eyes will see the world as photogenic again, but for now, that part of your brain needs to rest. Focus on something else for a while, and it will return before you know it. I look forward to that time :)
Your inspiration has not fled- I assure you! : ) I just saw the beautiful picture up there...you are just fine! Maybe you need a coffee run...I wish I were there. xoxo
