Good Morning...

...
...
lightness
In squashing my disappointment, licking my wounds, I accomplish much...
A room gutted of extra.
Drawers emptied and filled.
Ill fitting bagged for charity. Ruined torn to rags, therapeutic.
Red~ish roots dyed redder.
Photos edited and culled...Oh so painful to delete near perfect photos but essential.
A freezer emptied and cleaned. Now bare, to be filled today with goodness...
Lavender pruned, just to smell the heavenly scent.

Today I will be doing much of the same...Bringing lightness.

I am setting up my easel in front of the picture window...It's been a very long time since I've painted. I may need paint...I am anxious. I am happy.
I've forgotten who I've written to...So I'll write a bunch of postcards today. Interested in receiving a postcard? Drop me a line...crownology(at)yahoo(dot)ca. Every address I already have will get one...

What have you done to bring lightness? To soothe your soul. Calm your racing heart and mind?

Happy Saturday Loves...
I hope it's an inspirational one.

To bring lightness?
I walked the dogs when the light was still faint this morning.
Along the river.

I felt like a bird on a green branch.
Or a green branch in a hand.

hey sweet pea !! I'm gonna email you because I'd love a pcard from the rock (and I'll answer your ??). The humdinger-ness (read awfulness has mostly passed) still small pangs in my stomach "but" I learned so much this week about who I am now & who I want to be and most of all about who I definitely don't want to be. Boy oh boy - Life's a trip. To bring lightness (& a big Bonjour Lightness) I'm trying (trying, trying, trying) to be kind & loving to me - it is so hard sometimes. xoxoxo Susan + les Gang

Exquisite images!!! I'm so glad you turned your disappointment into positive movement, so hard to do sometimes. I would love to receive a postcard, real mail is so much fun!!!!
When I have my ears full of good music and I am singing at the top of my lungs ( and I don't care who hears me lol) I feel so free and easy.

to bring lightness: keeping up with the mundane chores day in and day out, so as to keep them from becoming one huge mess that requires too much of me....daily sweeping, washing the pots and pans, one load of laundry when the basket is just to it's peak, not overflowing.

The top photo reminds me of poetry in a candlelit room. So peaceful.

My heart would be light all day to receive a postcard (and did I mention the smile that I would have?) from the likes of talented sweet you. :)
