:(

I am sad today.
"They" are excavating the empty lot behind my house.
The lot has beautiful maple trees.
Bordering on my backyard.
"They" have exposed the roots of a maple I rely on to block the uglies on the street behind...
*sigh*
Will my maple die now? Will "they" end up tearing her out fully?
Why do cities allow all the green to be plucked out when it adds so much value?
*tears*
The (my) poor trees!

Maybe you can save the tree if you can "re-package" the roots before they get much damage.Try putting loose soil around them and putting as much sod as you can find on top of that around the whole bottom of the tree. Good luck.
Maybe you can take it up with city hall.

Oh, I'm sad with you. I hope they don't tear her out! The above comments sounds worth a try. I don't understand how anyone can cut down a tree if it's healthy. I'm sending prayers for protection!

Thanks so much...
There hasn't been much action out there since exposing the roots. ???
I am hoping that she'll be okay but I can't do the advice above because there is about a three foot drop from where her roots are exposed. They dug down deep. And it's on their property :/. I feel sick when I look at all the buds she has out...
