A challenge by the lovely and talented Ida...
To take 12 photos of 12 strangers. Here is #1.
This one is the best of a few I took of this man. He knew I was taking photos of him and I think he was getting nervous. (As you would...But I was taking them all over the area too...) I was sitting a few tables away with a coffee (black and bold!) , a caramel pretzel and the Canon. There were a bunch sheriff officers next to me watching the girls go by. This girl turned everyone's head. It was, I think, partly because of the lovely blue coat in a sea of grays and blacks .
I used a longer shutter speed than I normally would to get a sense of motion...It almost worked. I need to practice more.
I wanted to ask a few of the shop people I saw but I was too shy. Maybe for next week!

Hah...too funny for some reason, and now I want bold coffee and caramel pretzel...I am so impressionable!
xo
Men aren't thinking of blue coats when beautiful women go by, believe me.
What a cool paparazzi'ish idea :) I'm sure he wasn't terribly offended of you taking his pic, probably just nervous that a pretty lady was even looking in his direction ;)
great project maybe I should try!!!
great shot of a nervous man !!!
This is an interesting project. I do not include people in my photos as a general rule, so this would be a painful challenge. Look forward to seeing the next 11.
I really like how this turned out: the movement, the blue coat, how he looks after the girl! Well done ... and thanks for playing along :-D
