Until Next Year...

Whew...It's all over.
I am exhausted!
It was a great two days though. I met a lot of wonderful women and learned so much...I wasn't nervous when actually speaking with people however the "mingle" was hard. The first evening's wine and cheese party was the most difficult but I met several helpful and interesting women. My business logo was really well received which made me happy...
The next night at the Gala dinner I sat next to a local jeweller and gallery owner that I've been wanting to contact for awhile now. She was amazing, supportive, intrepid and hilarious! I was, inappropriately (though quietly...) laughing the entire ceremony.
Everyone looked fabulous and I felt comfortable in the mix...
Unfortunately I didn't get photos of the "cocktail outfit" which was very "artsy"...Something like the Polyvore mix below...I wore my taffeta striped scarf in a big flouncy bow around my neck...
Dark eyes and pinned up hair...Artsy...

The Photographer took some photos, for my Mom, of the Gala night's outfit...

Must remember to pose feet properly! :)

Vintage bag and jewellry. Nail polish! Green silk scarf as wrap...

So this was the light side of things...I have some other things I want to share with you, an inspirational story and business information, after I rest my mind (and foot)...
What did you do these past few days?

wow! congrats on getting through it with what sounds like flying colours! you looked fabulous, i love your artsy dress up style!

now you can relax for a spell... i know if it was me, i would now be overthinking everything i said and replaying/reliving the whole thing in my mind over and over. don't be like me, it is crazymaking!

really proud of you!

ps - i have started using "the good china" for everything! i think this is a mix of some of your influence, plus this newly ignited need in me to treat myself well and take care and time to enjoy things rather than rushing through them - the tea room job has been instrumental in teaching me that as well!

My goodness Mlle, did you win everyone's heart, you would mine if I were in that group! Gorgeous!

I am running so cannot share anything today but delighted to hear that you had fun...I loved hearing that you laughed the entire time, inside and outside, sometimes I do the same.

XOXO

You looked gorgeous! That green shawl with your red hair is stunning :)

And I love the artsy outfit...that silver shirt is too cool and I LOVE the stripped scarf.

You look HOT!!! That has to be one of the best colour combination I've seen with your hair and the scarf and the black.
