This is my beautiful Grandmother...This is the woman who shared her birthday with me. I was born on her 50th.
Shared her name, her first is my second.
Shared her unconditional love and affection.
Growing up I spent every summer with her.
Baking bread, playing dress up with the old clothes in the trunk, laughing, walking, talking, holding hands...
She was my biggest fan.
She was my Kindred
My Grandmother has Alzheimer's,
I miss the special softness in her eyes that was only for me...
She will always, always be my favourite and beloved Nanny.
She has given me enough love and memories to last my whole life.
