Five Senses Friday

Seeing: Raindrops gathering in the pool like spaces of newly sprouting flowers. The reflection of my loved wooden ceiling in the dark steaming surface of my coffee. Walls that still need plaster and paint.

Hearing: Car tires on wet pavement...It sounds sticky...Like pulling a bandage from the skin and hair of your arm...

Tasting: Coffee. A touch of bitter and a dash of spicy.

Touching: My feet are sockless, bare and pressed firmly to the cold floor.

Smelling: The unmistakeable smell of brewed coffee...Perhaps a hint of cinnamon.

6th Sense...
Intuition: A line from a favourite poet does nicely here..."You must change your life."

What is happening in your sensory world today?

Andrea, Your sensory world is always more delicate than mine! Let's see...seeing your blog that pleases me immensely...Tasting cold coffee, I am going to go for a refill pronto...touching the keyboard and I do love that...smelling nothing, how weird...intuition...hmmm, need to focus, end of school, back to things that I must do now!

Loving you from afar!

Andrea (middle of the night here..)

I woke up to
Hearing: the sound of spring thunder and a million raindrops, the inhabitants of my garden sighing in joy and relief....

Now smelling: vanilla coffee (since I am up, I might as well carry on until I am tired again and have the luxury of going back to bed)

Seeing: though my patio doors, little glow lights in my garden illuminating flowers, bushes and trees....tiny universes....

Rain can be such a relief....oxoxox
