Andrea, I love your hot air balloons. Fancy that you created these today as when I was on my way to an art's festival earlier, someone was getting ready to go up in one! LOVE those, although you would NEVER find me riding in one. :) Hee Hee

as for the elf in Italy, I saw a photo of a male model on the plane... somehow I took him further into an elf... and then the spirit of the art took over. Can't really say it had to do with Italy, except that I was there.

Up, up and away... :) Nice one!
I am back from the mountains and trying to catch up. Great drawing, the balloons are fantastic and the finger in the foreground is awesome. The whole thing kind of reminds me of Close Encounters of the third kind (but maybe of the second kind in the case of this sketch). Love it.
