I woke this morning frozen in place...I think it's time to drag out the old woolens...
I woke determined to stop the insanity!
Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.I'm going to try a few days doing the opposite of my current natural inclinations {chocolate, coffee, books, baths, bed covers...} A diagnosis and prescription all in one...Depression. I've been here before ~the cusp~...When things can go either way. I'm going to try to push them towards the light, starting with the bright sunshine of today's early rise. I am bundled up like an Arctic explorer to drink steaming hot {Baroness Grey} tea on my deck...In the sunshine. A good start to being sane me thinks.

sending golden California sun to warm your bones, your heart & your mind ... i always find that being outside, lost in nature takes my own mind away from those recurring, 'insane' thoughts ~~ sounds like you are off to a good start in that direction!
Use this "gift" of a day as it was intended, cherish the small wonders.
