Five Senses Friday {Afternoon Edition...}

I See: Avocado...I bit into my wrap and the spinach decided to stay intact and act as a sling shot, flinging bits of avocado and grainy mustard everywhere...Amusing, though not fun! In my garden, where I spent the whole afternoon, signs of life and the HUGEST lovely earthworm. It is so amazing out there right now. A thing on the cusp of becoming a greater thing...

I Hear:
Leaves, on the wind, crashing into each other as they dance and swirl through the air...A dozen or so got caught in my curls...What an interesting sound and look...

I Taste: My wrap, a chai tea latte and am anticipating a late supper, perhaps with a new friend!

I Touch: Gardening gloves were on my hands until Mr. Earthworm showed up. They were promptly thrown aside so I could hold him, fully tactile...He was cool and silky and sturdy...So now I have a black tip French manicure ;)...Just for a another minute or so and then I 'll be touching soap and a scrub brush!

I Smell: Lavender...I dropped the bottle this morning, while dabbing my wrists and it still pervades the room. A granny ghost...Also, spicy chai and Earth. What a marvelous combo!

6th Sense...
My Intuition Tells Me This...I am on the right path and to avoid giving away my energy to anything/one unworthy. I suggest the same for you, be vigilant!

MLJ~ Please do tell! I'm sure it is something scientific! Though, don't tell if it will scare me off them too! OX's to You and the "boys"...

Plume, I thought of you today whilst I dipped my hands into the dirt...I am wishing you much happiness this weekend my BeautiFULL {too} friend...

Actually it is not scientific at all- when I was little I hated food and the nanny who took care of me used to dig out all the worms in the yard, put them on a plate and show them to me to frighten me, as soon as I cried she would shove food in my mouth,,,of course my parents had no idea this was going on...crazy, isn;t it? xx

I know, ugh, but she meant no harm... and now, aside from my disgust with earthworms, I have no problem eating : ) xoxo

now this day sounds lovely!...my day wasnt about me:

I saw: the almost completed jewelry collections of my students
I heard: files and saws STILL being used improperly ( GRRRRRR! :)
I tasted: the green iced tea I sipped
I smelled: clay, and lots of it...I teach in a ceramics studio!
I touched: lots of earring wires I insisted get filed
My intuition tells me that all this work will turn out ok...and the work will be lovely! :)

wish I was playing in your garden, though!
xo

avocado sling shot fling is hilarious! i've had that almost same thing happen, those slippery buggers....they either mush or fly through the air. awesome post as per yooj! the lavender spillage must be lovely to breath in. my sensory world needs to get a start today, it's been a bland beginning so i'm hoping for a bit more to fill up with soon. just kinda taking some time to relax, this weeks been a grand haul. hope your weekend flourishes with many more fills & thrills. ♥
