I took this out from the library, and a couple of days ago returned it unread, once I found out it was all written in letters. I didn't think I would like that, now you've got me reconsidering, lol!

I just finished reading "Alias Grace" by Margaret Atwood... it was amazing! I'm now (finally) reading "The Lovely Bones" :)
I loved it too, a fun novel.
I know! I just adored that book. Fabulous!
Did you notice how the last couple of chapters didn't quite match the rest of the book. My educated guess would be that the niece finished the book after the author's stroke.
grandmaq...I felt that the end was a little rushed and less "descriptive" but I didn't really think about it...Thanks for sharing this idea, you are probably right...:)
